Mission

The Ethnic World International Pageant system is an organization that promotes personal and professional development in women through celebrating the beauty of cultural diversity through the medium of pageantry.

Ethnic World International prides itself in not only promoting the cultural diversity in women around the world but the pageant company also focuses on representing the faces of women throughout all age groups and stages in life.

Ethnic World International 2011-12

I started competing in Pageants on what you would call a "Humble". A complete coincidence but yet one of the best coincidences I have ever had.

I continue to compete in Pageants because Pageantry is the only SINGLE sport for girls and women, where we can excel beyond the gender barriers that other competitive activities often have. Like all competitive activities, pageantry is a tool that can help you develop professional and social skills.

I contribute many of the marketing and public speaking skills I gain through pageantry to the successes I have obtained in business and charitable work.

The Ancient Art of Blade Throwing. I currently concentrate on throwing the Kama, a farming tool used to harvest rice.

Shuriken Jutsu

" Shuriken" means "Small Hidden Weapon" and "Jutsu" means "Art" in Japanese.

I join the exclusive group of women the have crossed the barrier of the blade that is dominated by male throwers.

An ancient Japanese Warrior Arts today often confused with modern westernized blade throwing, Shuriken Jutsu is a Japanese art exclusive to the noble and high profile Samurai class. Later, Shuriken Jutsu was also adopted by the warrior and nomadic class as method to carry hidden weapons for the purpose of self protection.

Blade throwing can be traced in many indigenous traditions around the world from the Spear of the African jungle to the and Native American tribal arrow.

There are several types of Shuriken such as Bo-Shuriken, Kuruma-Shuriken and Kama-Shuriken.

Through my adult life I have participated in several 5 & 10K runs just for the fun of it. I am now at a point where I believe I can cultivate my natural physical ability and talent for running distances and through challenging cources into something that is beneficial to others - primarily being charitable causes.

I train in several run teams in and around Southern California.

My love for pool is most likely genetic. My relationship with billards goes back way before my time. My great grandmother was a Proprietress of a pool hall in New York City so I guess you can say it is in my blood.

At the age of 18, I was exposed to friendly games of pool contests in local pool halls in city pool halls and quickly learned the game.

As a way to fine tune my craft and build my experience, I am entering the world of competitive pool and will compete through the womens amatuers and into pros.

Public Speaking

Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking

Public speaking compliments to my foundations as a professional. As a member of Toastmasters International, I will compete in speaking competitions throughout the area, division and district levels with the goal of entering the semifinals and the World Champions of Public Speaking.

The World Championships of Public Speaking is known as the Olympics of Public Speaking. The competition is judges by a panel of expert speakers and the speeches are judged on content, organization, clarity and gestures. Every year over 200,00 members in 13,000 clubs in 116 countries have the opportunity to participate in speaking contests with hopes of advancing through the competition levels Toastmasters International.

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Toastmasters helps more than a quarter million people of every ethnicity, education and profession build their competence in communication so they can gain the confidence to lead others.

In 2012 I will begin my journey using the experience and training I have gained in public speaking in debate clubs and in pageantry
