    01 / FAMILY HISTORY

    The family behind the business.

    My family’s relationship with Texas land stretches across generations, from E. R. Taylor and Ann George to Nettie Taylor and Jerome Aredell Williams, my grandfather Jerome Edward Williams, and my mother, Felicia Vivian Williams.

    Following my mother’s death in 2024, I took on responsibility for the Williams family inheritance. Through Murrow & Williams, that responsibility connects our history with the decisions I make today.

    My work spans creative industries and family enterprise. Stewardship brings a longer perspective to both: attention to detail, respect for relationships, and the patience to consider what a decision will mean beyond the present moment.

    That experience also informs Daisi Royalty, the business I founded to purchase mineral and royalty interests with an understanding of the families behind them.
